Claudio Castagnoli is on his way to Japan as he's finally set to make his long-awaited debut in NJPW.
The Blackpool Combat Club member and current Ring of Honor world champion will be at Dominion on June 4 where he will team up with Jon Moxley and Shota Umino.
The Swiss star will be thrown into the action immediately as his trio come up against the formidable group of Kazuchika Okada, Hiroshi Tanahashi & Tomohiro Ishii with the NEVER Openweight six-man titles up for grabs.
First up for Castagnoli is AEW Double or Nothing in Las Vegas where the eagerly anticipated BCC vs. The Elite feud moves up a few notches.
Castagnoli’s stable will participate in the second Anarchy in the Arena match and with this rivalry currently one of the best in all of pro wrestling, chaos is expected at AEW’s second PPV event of the year.
Regardless of the result tonight, Castagnoli won’t have time to celebrate or dwell on the result as his focus will immediately switch to Dominion.
AEW and NJPW host Forbidden Door 2 in June and it’s possible that Dominion could give us a small sample of what's to come as two of wrestling’s biggest companies go head-to-head.
