John Cena made headlines this past weekend as he officially announced his WWE retirement tour as he prepares to hang up his boots.
The sixteen-time world champion gatecrashed WWE's Money in the Bank show on Saturday to reveal that 2025 will be his final year as an active superstar and went about announcing a series of dates he intends to wrestle before the end of 2025.
The 2025 tour could see Cena come up against a number of new WWE stars as well as some old rivals, one of which, the Hollywood star has given the ultimate compliment.
During a tease for the latest episode of WWE's Legends biography series, Cena stated that the subject of the show is one of the promotion's most underappreciated.
In the clip, he gives former foe The Miz the accolade by saying: “He’s the most, not one of the most, the most underrated WWE superstar in the history of the business.”
Cena and Miz have battled each other on numerous occasions over the years, including in the main event of WrestleMania 28, as well as teaming with their other halves for a mixed tag match in 2017.
