John Cena will return to WWE action on September 8 as he teams up with World Heavyweight Champion Seth 'Freaking' Rollins.
The pair will face Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci in a tag-team match on the Superstar Spectacle event at the GMC Indoor stadium in Hyderabad, India.
The Doctor of Thuganomics surprised fans at Money in the Bank in July before a brief appearance on Smackdown earlier in August to congratulate Edge on his 25th anniversary with the WWE.
Cena is expected to return to Smackdown on September 1 before travelling to India for the Superstar Spectacle.
It will be the first time the 13-time WWE champion fights in India and a sell-out crowd is expected to greet him.
The card also sees Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens take on the Indus Sher duo of Sanga and Veer, with more fights to be announced.
