Kurt Angle has suggested that WWE need to do better with Finn Balor or risk losing the Irish star in the future.
Balor appears to have found his position in WWE due to his prominent role within the Judgement Day faction but despite his popularity, wins on WWE’s big shows have been hard to come by for Balor.
At WrestleMania 39 earlier this year, Balor was defeated by Edge inside Hell in a Cell, but he emerged with credit following a solid effort.
Moving into the summer, Balor was in the world title picture, but he was beaten by Seth Rollins on two occasions with the losses occurring at Money in the Bank and Summerslam.
Angle, a huge admirer of Balor, believes WWE must do more with Balor if they want him to remain an integral part of their company.
“It would’ve been nice if they had given him this world title,” said Angle when speaking on his own podcast, The Kurt Angle Show.
“I think he’s really over, he’s incredibly athletic, and he has a lot of charisma. This kid, if WWE doesn’t end up doing something with him that’s dramatic, I wouldn’t blame him if he went off and went somewhere else.
“I don’t want to see him do that, because I love the WWE and I think he’s a good fit for them, but they need to start putting this kid over. He deserves it.”
