Junior Dos Santos has previously ventured into the world of professional wrestling.

It's not just the cage where Junior Dos Santos has shown off his fighting skills, he has also taken the plunge into professional wrestling - specifically with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).

In the summer of 2021, the Brazilian began making appearances in AEW when he was backing the head of American Top Team Dan Lambert.

Dos Santos then went onto make his professional wrestling debut on the October 15 edition of AEW Rampage that same year when he teamed up with Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky to take on The Inner Circle (Jake Hager, Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara) in a trios match.

Dos Santos' team subsequently won the match and when reflecting on the experience in an interview with DAZN, the 39-year-old had nothing but positives to say about his time with AEW.

"That was great, I really enjoyed being a part of it, to experience a little bit of that world," Dos Santos began.

"I didn’t know much about it, but then Dan Lambert brought us to be a part of it, I had some great times over there with them.

"I was learning some moves, some different aspects of this kind of combat and that was very nice.

"I really enjoyed the time I was able to spend with them."

Now Dos Santos is set to make his debut in other combat sports arena, this time with Gamebred Fighting Championship he will rematch Fabricio Werdum in a bare knuckle MMA fight on September 8.
