Bryan Danielson and Zack Sabre Jr. are set to clash again after it was announced by NJPW that the pair will meet on February 11.
The match will take place in Osaka, Japan and it will be part of the New Beginning show that will also see United Empire face Bullet Club War Dogs in Will Ospreay’s last NJPW match before he departs for AEW.
Last year, Danielson and Sabre Jr. competed in a terrific encounter at AEW Wrestledream where the American Dragon was successful.
The match earned widespread acclaim and it was awarded the prestigious five stars by WON. A sequel was expected, and it’s set to go down next month as NJPW looks to build on its impressive start to 2024.
Danielson was in action earlier this month when he appeared at Wrestling Kingdom against Okada.
The Japanese legend was able to claim revenge over Danielson after losing at last year’s Forbidden Door, but will Sabre Jr. be able to match his NJPW colleague by claiming victory over one of wrestling’s best ever performers?
