CM Punk will be at the debut of AEW’s new Saturday night show, Collision, when it premieres on June 17 at the United Center in Chicago.
The former AEW world champion has been inactive from action since winning the title for a second time at All Out last year following an altercation with The Elite backstage after the event.
Since that incident, Punk has been nursing an injury but speculation on his future has been relentless with talk that he could be finished with the Florida based company.
One of the biggest names in the company, Punk’s return is likely to provide a huge boost for AEW with their TV output massively increasing with the launch of Collision.
Tony Khan confirmed Punk’s return when speaking on a recent Dynamite from San Diego.
