When was the first Bad Blood?
WWE introduced the first Bad Blood in October 1997, and it is seen as a seminal moment in the company's history. The event hosted the first-ever Hell in a Cell match, as Shawn Michaels battled Undertaker to determine who was the number one contender for the WWE championship.
The match is regarded as one of the era's classic bouts, and gave birth to a match that would not only produce some of the most iconic moments in WWE history, but for a short while a stand alone event it's own right called, Hell in a Cell.
