WWE return to Saudi Arabia this week to host the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event.
The two finals of the tournament will take place in Jeddah, where WWE will crown a brand new King and Queen at a show that also features Cody Rhodes putting his WWE Undisputed Championship on the line against Logan Paul.
The King of the Ring tournament has been part of WWE since 1985 and has run sporadically in various ways over the last thirty-nine years. Before 1993, it was a non-televised event until it was turned into a pay-per-view and became one of the promotion's biggest shows during the 1990s.
More recently, the tournament has been merged into WWE programming, with rounds being played out on Raw and SmackDown and the final taking place on a separate PLE. In 2021, WWE add a Queen of the Ring for the very first time.
