Luke Littler has been the talk of the sporting world in recent weeks following his incredible run at the World Darts Championship.
The 16-year-old had audiences gripped throughout the tournament as he went all the way to the final before falling short against the impressive Luke Humphries.
Littler’s 7-4 defeat in the final hasn't stopped his momentum and after receiving well wishes from the likes of David Beckham and Gary Neville, the Warrington youngster has now been contacted by the WWE.
The wrestling powerhouse, a global brand with years of success behind them, were made aware of Littler’s walk on entrance being inspired by watching WrestleMania.
Greenlight by Pitbull was played at WrestleMania 33 in 2017 and with Littler attending the show, he decided to use the song when competimg for the biggest prize in darts.
After revealing this information in an interview, the official WWE UK account on X reached out to Littler and invited him to attend their April event at London’s O2 Arena.
"Unbelievable run, @LuketheNuke180..." read the post on X.
"We heard #WrestleMania 33 inspired your entrance music on @BBCR1, so you're officially invited to @TheO2 on April 19 when WWE rolls through London. We might event hit @Pitbull's "Greenlight" for you!".
Littler has since admitted he’s no longer a fan of wrestling but will he be tempted to make an appearance after the American based company made him an offer?
