WWE Superstars crossing over into the film world is no new thing, especially given the successful Hollywood careers of Dwayne Johnson and John Cena.
Now, another wrestling star has dipped his toe into movies by appearing in the upcoming flick The Killer's Game and has revealed how the part came about.
Speaking in an interview with Irish Whip Wrestling, Drew McIntyre said it was all down to the movie's main star, former WWE talent Batista - now known under his real name, Dave Bautista.
"Dave called me, and asked me if I wanted to be part of it," McIntyre explained.
"He had a conversation with the director about a couple of characters, who are hitmen, they needed someone who physically looked like they could take on Dave, that is Scottish and sometimes unintelligent when he talks with a bit of a comedic side and Dave says "I know that guy" he actually exists, he's called Drew."
