Laurie Cunningham, one of the first black footballers to play for the English national team, arrived in Spanish professional football in 1979 as an icon of the anti-racist struggle. His son Sergio recalls his significant figure in a conversation with another illustrious Madrid striker, Fernando Morientes. Together, they review how racism was experienced in the last decades of the 20th century in the second video podcast of LALIGA VS, a project aimed at transforming society through football and eradicating hate both inside and outside the stadiums.
