Aaron Rodgers has confirmed which players he wants back on the Jets roster for 2024.
Speaking on Cameron Hanes' Keep Hammering Collective podcast, Rodgers covered various topics.
On the topic of roster construction, Rodgers confirmed that the Jets involve him in player signings and the appearance of the roster.
After that, Rodgers listed two players he wants back for 2024: "Listen, special teams have hurt some of the teams I have players for. Last year, we had an incredible kicker and punter.
"Our punter Thomas Morstead was a weapon for us. And kicker Greg Zuerlein was phenomenal. He only missed two kicks. He's a weapon; he can kick from anywhere. I'd like to see those guys back."
Rodgers continued to assess the rest of the roster, adding: "Defense? We're in pretty good shape. We have young talent. Our defensive line is deep; we have six guys there. We're stacked on defense.
"We need to bolster our offensive line and add a wide receiver on the offensive side."
The Jets hold the 10th pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Draft experts suggest that the upcoming class features plenty of top offensive linemen and wide receivers. Rodgers' wishes might come true on draft night.
