The NFL has announced that one regular season game during the 2024 season will be played in Brazil after owners voted for the move on Wednesday.
Brazil will become the sixth country to host an NFL game, following the United States, Canada, Mexico, United Kingdom and most recently Germany.
The NFL has also decided to increase the number of international games from the 2025 season up to eight, as well as the annual Jacksonville Jaguars game in London.
Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo in Brazil, as well as Spain's capital city Madrid, had all been scouted by the NFL as potential locations for future international games.
And it is Sao Paulo which has been chosen to host a regular season game during the 2024 season.
The match will be played at the Arena Corinthians, home of the Brazilian soccer team called Corinthians.
The stadium hosted six games at the 2014 Fifa World Cup, including the opening match between Brazil and Croatia.
Arena Corinthians is the 26th biggest stadium in South America, and can hold up to 49,205 fans.
