New York Jets running back Breece Hall is developing into an elite offensive talent in the NFL.
The 22-year-old has had to deal with injuries at the start of his professional career, but when he has been on the field there has been no denying his ability.
The 2022 second round pick was just six rushing yards short of the 1,000 mark in 2023, but added 76 receptions for 591 yards and four touchdowns through the air which highlights his pass-catching ability.
Even so, Hall left fans stunned when he named his top five NFL running backs - and put himself top of his own list!
In response to a list made by Atlanta Falcons' Bijan Robinson, Hall took to X - formerly known as Twitter - to share his views.
After putting himself and Robinson as the top two picks, Hall then selected San Francisco 49ers' Christian McCaffrey, Detroit Lions rookie Jahmyr Gibbs and a tie between Tennessee Titan Derrick Henry and other Lions back David Montgomery for fifth.
A list of this nature is always going to cause debate, but many fans were quick to point out the omissions of Nick Chubb and Jonathan Taylor.
The other point of debate was the selection of McCaffrey in third, as the 49ers running back put in an MVP-calibre season in 2023 and would be many people's selection for the best running back in the league at the moment.
Hall will look to back up his first place selection in 2024 as the Jets try to bounce back from a difficult 2023 campaign.
