Jermaine Eluemunor's free agent move has taken him back to the start.

London-born Jermaine Eluemunor has seen his NFL journey come full circle following his free-agent move to the New York Giants.

The 29-year-old Brit grew up playing Rugby at school before being hooked into the NFL by watching the NFL's maiden London game at Wembley.

Eluemunor moved to America at 14 and started playing American Football. Drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2017, Eluemunor has played for the New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders.

On day one of free agency, Eluemunor signed a two-year deal worth $14 million with the New York Giants.

The Giants played and won that London regular-season game, which was Eluemunor's first exposure to the NFL. Taking to social media, Eluemunor said, "The first football game I ever watched? Dolphins vs. Giants and Wembley Stadium in 2007.

"Fast-forward 17 years. I now have the opportunity to suit up and play for the team that made me want to play this game. Grateful is an understatement."

That contract is the most lucrative deal of Eluemenor's career.

The former Raider was excellent in 2023. He started 14 games last season and surrendered just one sack after Week 5.

Eluemenor ended his day with this message to Giants fans, "I'm excited to be a Giant. I cannot wait to get started and help the team. You won't regret it."
