Caleb Williams is the current NFL leader for most passing yards in a game this season.
The rookie quarterback notched 363 yards with two touchdown passes and two interceptions for the Chicago Bears in a 21-16 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Williams' passing total is the highest of any QB thus far in the 2024 campaign.
While the loss puts a damper on the milestone for Williams, who has led the Bears to a 1-2 record after three games, the game continued an upward trend for the 22-year-old, who threw for 93 yards in Week 1 and 174 yards in Week 2.
Additionally, Sunday's game marked the first touchdown pass of Williams' fledgling NFL career, as he connected with fellow rookie Rome Odunze in the fourth quarter for the major.
