Damar Hamlin's long road back to the NFL is now complete.
The Buffalo Bills safety played against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday, the first action he's seen since suffering a cardiac arrest in January.
While Hamlin, 25, was limited to special teams in the first half of his first game back, that didn't put a damper on the ovation he received from the fans at Highmark Stadium in suburban Buffalo.
Hamlin was a healthy scratch for Buffalo's first three games of the 2023 season. He suffered the cardiac arrest following a hit to the chest by Cincinnati Bengals receiver Tee Higgins on Jan. 2 and was fully cleared for football activties in April.
