Bo Nix had a first half to forget on Sunday, as the Denver Broncos' quarterback had a historically bad performance over the first 30 minutes against the New York Jets.
The rookie QB helmed a Broncos offense that couldn't get anything started in the first half of Sunday's contest, as Nix did not complete a pass beyond the line of scrimmage during that period.
According to NextGenStats, Nix posted a 0% success rate on his 16 dropbacks in the first half, marking the first time a player has had zero successful plays in the first half of an NFL game since those statistics were kept.
However, the Jets were equally inept on offense throughout the game despite Aaron Rodgers racking up 225 passing yards, and Nix's first career touchdown pass in the third quarter gave his team a 7-6 lead. The teams would trade fields goals in the final quarter but Denver held on for a 10-9 victory.
Nix finished the game with 60 passing yards and one TD.
