The best weekend of the NFL season has arrived. The Divisional Round features two games in each conference which can be watched live worldwide on DAZN (excluding U.S. and China).
Below is a fantasy football glimpse at the matchups in store.
Houston Texans vs. Kansas City Chiefs
Patrick Mahomes will be challenged in this game. The Texans’ defense was second in quarterback pressure rate (37.8%) this season. There is fantasy hope for Mahomes nonetheless. Houston finished second in passing touchdowns allowed (31) and Mahomes has thrown for 11 scores against zero interceptions since week 12. Production from the Chiefs’ skill players has been balanced all season, making them harder to trust.
The Texans’ offense finished ninth overall in pass rate (59.0%) and will need the best from CJ Stroud and Nico Collins to upset the Chiefs. Kansas City has a strong run defense to slow down Joe Mixon, who was key to Houston’s Wild Card victory over the Chargers. Nico Collins is the best fantasy pick on the Texans this week and will be the focal point of this game plan.

Washington Commanders vs. Detroit Lions
The Lions deployed an elite running game this season and led the NFL in scoring (33.2). Jahmyr Gibbs has been the best fantasy running back over the past month and the Commanders are an advantageous matchup for Gibbs. Washington’s defense allows nearly 140 yards on the ground per game. Amon-Ra St. Brown is the fantasy choice through the air for Detroit. He has scored in three of the past four games.
The Commanders are exceptionally efficient on the ground. Washington finished fourth overall in rushing yards per play (5.0). The issue is Detroit limits production from their opponents running the ball. Jayden Daniels will be tasked with both running and throwing on Sunday. He has monster fantasy potential in this matchup. Terry McLaurin is Daniels’ favorite target and has seven touchdowns in the last six weeks.
Los Angeles Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles have the highest run rate in the NFL (55.7%). They will play through Saquon Barkley on Sunday. These teams played in Week 12 and Barkley tallied 255 yards and two touchdowns on 9.8 yards per carry. He is dependable and then some for fantasy managers against a Rams defense allowing 130 yards per game on the ground.
Sean McVay calls a balanced offense for the Rams. The variety allows them to attack the Eagles’ defense as needed. The scheme will be through the air this week, making Matthew Stafford and Puka Nacua notable fantasy plays. Stafford was excellent last week, completing over 70% of his throws with two touchdowns. Nacua is well overdue to find the end zone with only three touchdowns this year.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills
The Ravens’ offense led the league in total yardage per game (424.9). Lamar Jackson is the catalyst and will have his hand in every play. Buffalo has defended the run well this year, but is susceptible to giving up big plays on the ground. Derrick Henry will accumulate yardage and has scored five touchdowns in his last three outings. Last week was the first game Mark Andrews did not score since Week 11. The tight end will surface in the red zone on Sunday.
Josh Allen will be forced to throw in this matchup. The Ravens led the NFL in rushing yards per game allowed (80.1), but were only 31st in yardage allowed through the air (244.1). Khalil Shakir gets the most usage and has drawn 16 targets over his last three games. Allen targets his running backs in the passing game. James Cook is a good fantasy play despite Baltimore’s prowess stopping the run.
