Mike Vrabel is back in the game after parting ways with the Titans in January.

Former Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel has landed a new role following his dismissal in January.

Vrabel, the NFL Coach of the Year in 2021, saw a six-year spell with the Titans end this offseason following a 6-11 season that saw his side finish bottom of the AFC South.

The 48-year-old was then overlooked for the seven other head coach vacancies following the 2023 season, but he has now landed in Cleveland as a consultant with the Browns.

This came after Vrabel spent a week with the Browns at the NFL Scouting Combine as he now joins up officially with Kevin Stefanski’s staff, as per the NFL Network

Former defensive end Vrabel spent 14 years as a player in the NFL, turning out for the Steelers, Patriots and Chiefs, winning three Super Bowls with New England.

During his six seasons with Tennessee, he made the playoffs three times, including a 2019 defeat to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.

He now links up with a Browns side that are looking to make the playoffs in back-to-back seasons for the first time since 1989, following their Wild Card round defeat to the Houston Texans last season.
