NFL analyst and host of the Good Morning Football show, Peter Schrager, expects the New York Giants to trade up for J.J. McCarthy in the NFL 2024 Draft.
Schrager has made a habit out of correctly predicting NFL ongoings, and has incredibly predicted the winner of five straight Super Bowls.
Not only did he predict the winner of the most recent Super Bowl - the Kansas City Chiefs - but he also correctly named the San Francisco 49ers as the losing team.
Now, Schrager has produced his first 2024 mock draft, saying that he has made is predictions based off "what I'm hearing from my sources around the league".
Unsurprisingly, Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels and Drake Maye are the first three players selected.
But after that comes Schrager's first big prediction, which sees the New York Giants trading up two places to land Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy.
Schrager's prediction includes the Giants trading away a third round pick and 2025 second round pick to get their new quarterback.
With that pick out of the way, the Los Angeles Chargers are then free to choose from any of the wide receivers in this draft class, and Schrager expects them to take Marvin Harrison Jr.
The rest of Schrager's top 10 picks are:
- Pick 6 - Arizona Cardinals select Rome Odunze
- Pick 7 - Tennessee Titans select Joe Alt
- Pick 8 - Atlanta Falcons select Dallas Turner
- Pick 9 - Indianapolis Colts trade up and select Malik Nabers
- Pick 10 - New York Jets select Brock Bowers.
