The Packers prevailed against their nearest rivals on the first Sunday of the new season, with Jordan Love's 245 yards and three touchdown passes leading the way in a 38-20 victory over the Chicago Bears.

Meanwhile, the Falcons used a big fourth quarter outburst to get past the Carolina Panthers in Week 1, winning 24-10 after starting the final frame in a deadlock.
