Is the Tush Push a good play?

The Tush Push has become one of the NFL's most talked-about plays. This ferocious version of a quarterback sneak ignited furious debate in 2023.

Masterminded by the Philadelphia Eagles, some NFL fans, analysts and league members have called for the NFL to ban the play.

On Thursday, the NFL confirmed they would not ban the play for the upcoming 2024-25 season.

And Pro Football Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe agrees with the NFL's decision.

"Let's just leave this play alone. Defenses should figure out how to stop it," said Sharpe on the Nightcap show.

"The Eagles have mastered the play. They were the first team to do it and are good at it. Many teams have tried to copy, and they've struggled."

Sharpe's co-host Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson also commented, "Only the Eagles have worked it out. Teams need to find a way. There's no need to ban this play. It's a part of the game."
