Hall of Famer and three-time Super Bowl winner Shannon Sharpe has responded to Jerry Jones' claims that Dak Prescott can lead the Dallas Cowboys to the Super Bowl. 

Jones spoke to reporters at the NFL league meeting, confirming that he believes Prescott is a quarterback capable of winning a Super Bowl. 

However, Sharpe disagrees. 

"Jerry gives Cowboys fans false hope," Sharpe said on the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QT0lAin9dtc" target="_blank">Nightcap</a> podcast. 

"Our viewers think Halley's Comet will happen before the Cowboys win the Super Bowl. The Cowboys fans have high expectations. Every year, they believe they will win the Super Bowl. And it doesn't happen."

Sharpe continued, "Every year, they compare the current team to Super Bowl teams of the 1990s."
