After a season to forget, the Houston Texans are hoping for a brighter 2023.
The Texans were woeful last year, putting together a 3-13-1 record after tying their first game of the campaign. To add insult to injury, Houston was the first team to be eliminated from playoff contention during the 2022 season, marking the third consecutive year that the team was the first in the league to miss out on the postseason.
Naturally, the Texans head into the 2023 campaign with a new head coach, their third in three years, as DeMeco Ryans has been handed the task of turning things around. At the bare minumum, Ryans will be expected to win at least one game at NRG Stadium, something that the Lovie Smith-lead Texans were unable to accomplish last year.
Here's everything you need to know ahead of Houston's 2023 season.
