C.J. Stroud and the Houston Texans pulled up to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, sorely needing to snap their two-game skid.
Joe Mixon made sure they did just that, scoring two of his three rushing touchdowns in the first quarter, while the Dallas Cowboys' continued woes handled the rest, as the Texans produced a 34-10 stomping of the Cowboys on Monday Night Football.
On the strength of the two rushing TDs from Mixon and two field goals by Ka'imi Fairbairn, the Texans took a 17-10 lead into the fourth quarter.
That's when the Cowboys imploded, being strip-sacked toward one fumble and although they recovered the ball, the Cowboys fumbled again as the Texans returned it for a touchdown.
Later in the fourth with the Texans owning a commanding 27-10 lead, Mixon punched in his third touchdown of the night, finishing with 153 total yards and three TDs on 22 touches.
With the road victory under the national spotlight, the Texans improve to 7-4, while the Cowboys fall to 3-7.
