Houston Texans wide reciever Tank Dell was carted off the field late in the first quarter of their Week 13 match against the Denver Broncos.
The 24-year-old had been battling a calf injury all week leading up to the game, and as Dameon Pierce bundled over for a first period touchdown the rookie was left lying on the turf.
Initial reports suggest that Dell's injury against the Broncos is separate to the calf injury he had been dealing with, and the rookie is questionable to return with an ankle injury.
Dell had 369 yards and five touchdowns over his last four games going into today and has built a real connection with fellow rookie C.J. Stroud throughout the season.
If Dell is forced to miss time, wide receivers Nico Collins, Noah Brown and Robert Woods should see an uptick in production.
The Texans are hoping to keep their play-off hopes alive against the Broncos who have won five straight games going into Week 13.
