Few things in this life are certain, but the Baltimore Ravens winning preseason games has quietly become one of them.
On Saturday the Ravens narrowly defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 20-19 to win their 24th straight preseason game.
It was a close match at M&T Bank Stadium, and as has so often been the case in recent years the Ravens have kicker Justin Tucker to thank for the win.
The 33-year-old holds the record for the longest field goal in NFL history at 66 yards, and on Saturday he casually converted from 60 yards with the last play of the first half.
The six-time Pro Bowler also added a 43-yard field goal in the fourth quarter as the Ravens kept their preseason winning streak alive.
Baltimore's 24 consecutive preseason wins is now five more than the Green Bay Packers managed between 1959 and 1962.
The Ravens' last preseason defeat was back in 2015, and Tucker is one of just two players who have been with the franchise for that entire period - as well as offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley.
Baltimore will be looking to make it 25 and 26 straight wins against the Washington Commanders and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their other 2023 preseason games.
