The Jaguars claimed their second AFC South title in 2022 as quarterback Trevor Lawrence starting showing glimpses of the generational talent he was drafted to be.
After reaching the play-offs, the Jags then recorded the third-largest comeback in NFL postseason history, coming from 27-0 down to beat the Los Angeles Chargers 31-30.
Their 2022 run, however, was cut short in the divisional round by eventual Super Bowl winners the Kansas City Chiefs, but it was a campaign which provided optimism for the future.
Lawrence's completion rate jumped from around 60% to over 66%, while he threw twice as many touchdowns and half the interceptions he did in his rookie season.
Jacksonville now have the exciting prospect of seeing Lawrence throw to former first round wide receiver Calvin Ridley, who returns after a year of suspension for violating the league's gambling policy.
Alongside Christian Kirk, Zay Jones and Evan Engram, if Ridley is still the player who caught 90 passes for 1,374 yards and nine touchdowns in 2020 the Jaguars could reach another level in 2023.
