Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence has been impressed by the way their rookies have performed so far at training camp.
The reigning AFC South champions are looking to repeat the same feat in 2023 and have added several new targets for Lawrence to work with.
Top of the depth chart in 2023 will be Calvin Ridley off the back of his suspension, while Christian Kirk and Zay Jones will operate as the second and third options.
But asked at training camp who had surprised him so far, Lawrence was quick to name two rookies who had impressed him.
Speaking to the media on Sunday, Lawrence said: "I think Kevin Austin Jr. is having a great camp.
"Obviously all of our guys, Zay, Christian, Calvin, Evan [Engram] have been doing a great job.
"Tight ends, you look at Gerrit Prince, I think he's looked great, he's had an awesome camp so far so I'm excited for him and he'll help us a lot.
"From top to bottom we have a really great group, really smart, they know the system and it's not always like that."
The Jaguars begin preseason on Saturday against the Dallas Cowboys and the likes of Austin and Price will likely be on show for the first time.
