Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce has decided on his NFL future.
Earlier on Monday, the 36-year-old posted on social media, "No Keg videos this year; I have come to a decision and will address it at a press conference this afternoon."
The Eagles have called a press conference for 1 pm local time, where Kelce will address the media.
Retirement rumours have surrounded the former Super Bowl winner since the Eagles' loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Super Wildcard Weekend.
Following that defeat, various NFL insiders stated that Kelce would retire. Kelce refuted these claims on his podcast, confirming that fans would hear directly from him when he is ready to decide.
When discussing retirement on the Big Podcast with Shaq in early February, Kelce said, "I think if I still want to play, I'm going to play. I think we're not far enough from the last game right now. It's emotional. It's a long season. We ended the season, quite frankly, awful.
"So I'm just going to take some time. Rest, Recoop. And then figure it out. I think I'll have an answer in the next couple of weeks."
