How is Kirk Cousins' injury recovery going?

Quarterback Kirk Cousins downplayed any lingering doubts over his injury with a show-stealing moment at Thursday night's NFL Honors.

Cousins tore his Achilles in late October. The injury ended his season. Cousins opted for immediate surgery, attempting to ready himself for free agency. Cousins does not have a contract with any team for the 2024 season.

On the Pat McAfee show, Cousins said he is around four months away from full fitness. Moreover, Cousins commented on his future.

The veteran said, "I want to play long enough to my two boys, who are six and four, that they can remember it and have been a part of it and come into the locker room after a big win and go to practice and just remember it."

Cousins also confirmed that he has not held any talks with the Minnesota Vikings, saying, "I'd love to be back in Minnesota. But even in Minnesota, those conversations don't start yet. It's more late February, early March."

The injury could cause concern amongst teams when enquiring about Cousins. However, Cousins stole the show by dancing at the NFL Honors.
