The Minnesota Vikings' Kirk Cousins has responded to wide receiver Justin Jefferson leaving him out of his top five NFL quarterbacks.
Speaking to Danilo Lacalle, Jefferson named Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen as his top five quarterbacks in that order.
Looking at Jefferson's list, it is understandable why his teammate Cousins is not included.
And on Minneapolis radio station KFAN, Cousins had this to say about Jefferson's list: "People have to be honest and share what they think and I’m not going to tell somebody what they need to think.
"Hopefully in 2024 I’ll be on his list. We’ll see what we can do this year.
"As a competitor, yeah, you always want that."
Cousins and Jefferson have formed an elite partnership in Minnesota, with the wide receiver catching 128 passes for 1,809 yards and eight touchdowns in 2022.
