Two teams in desperate need of a victory meet Sunday as the New York Giants travel westward to face the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Raiders (3-5) are on a short turnaround this week after playing in the most recent edition of Monday Night Football, where they fell 26-14 to the Detroit Lions. Jimmy Garoppolo was a non-factor against the Lions with 126 passing yards and an interception, and he'll need to improve if Las Vegas are to pick up a win on home soil.
As for the Giants (2-6), they are coming off an emotionally draining 13-10 overtime loss to they New York Jets in which they squandered a halftime lead against their MetLife Stadium co-tenants. Now they must cross the country in search of a victory, although a game against a Raiders team that have lost two straight may be what they need to get back on track.
