The Los Angeles Chargers' defense thoroughly battered Zach Wilson for eight sacks and three fumbles.

That beatdown helped keep the New York Jets' quarterback and offense out of the end zone as the Chargers produced a 27-6 road domination of Gang Green at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on Monday Night Football.

Austin Ekeler rushed for two touchdowns for LA.

Chargers' linebacker Joey Bosa had 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

The Chargers took a 17-3 lead into halftime on the strength of an 87-yard punt return touchdown from Derius Davis, an Ekeler TD rush, their smothering defense and never looked back.

Six of the Chargers' eight sacks on Wilson came on the Jets' third downs, as LA's defense harassed and deflated the QB all night long.

With the victory, the Chargers improve to 4-4. The Jets fell to 4-4.
