Three-time Pro Bowl running back Maurice Jones-Drew says quarterback Jordan Travis could be the "steal of the draft".
Quarterbacks dominated the early part of the 2024 NFL Draft, with six of the first 12 picks all being at the position.
But 'MJD' - who led the league in rushing yards back in 2011 - says the New York Jets' decision to draft Travis in the fifth round could be one of the best picks of the whole draft.
Travis, out of Florida State, will now learn from starting quarterback Aaron Rodgers as he gets used to life in the NFL.
Speaking on ABC during the draft, Jones-Drew said: "This may be the steal of the draft.
"You get a guy who can sit behind Aaron Rodgers but not be like Zach Wilson, a number two overall pick and distraction.
"He's a playmaker, if healthy he would have been a day two or possibly late day one pick.
"To me, you get a guy who can run and throw the ball, and there's the smarts, the IQ. He will get to learn from Aaron Rodgers who has one of the biggest brains in the game."
