The Miami Dolphins went off on the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

The Dolphins were heavily favoured over their visitors for the Week 3 matchup, but no one could have predicted that history would be made at Hard Rock Stadium.

Led by another big outing by quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, the Dolphins won by 50 points in a 70-20 victory over the Broncos.

Tagovailoa threw for 309 yards and four touchdown passes in just over three quarters, but the highlight performance was duelling four-touchdown games from Raheem Mostert and De'Von Achane.

The 70 points scored by the Dolphins is the most in franchise history, and it is the most scored by any NFL team since 1966.
