It looked like the New York Giants were down and out for a second straight week.
In last week's season opener, the Giants were pummeled at home 40-0 by the Dallas Cowboys, and it looked like the team was headed in a similar direction on Sunday evening in Arizona. The Giants found themselves down by 20 points at halftime against the Cardinals on Sunday and seemingly destined for another blowout loss.
Things didn't seem much better in the third quarter despite New York scoring the first touchdown of the half, as Arizona answered right back with a major of their own — as well as a two-point conversion.
That put the Giants down 28-7 with 9:34 left in the third quarter, which is apparently exactly where they wanted to be.
New York QB Daniel Jones went to work and led his team to 24 unanswered points, with three straight touchdowns followed by a dramatic 34-yard field goal by Graham Gano with 19 seconds remaining to seal the unlikely victory.
The comeback is the largest by the Giants in nearly 74 years, and it moves the team to 1-1 on the season.
