We are just two weeks into the 2024 NFL season, but not everything has gone to plan for the 32 franchises.
Nor will it for many of your fantasy football teams, with more star players picking up injuries in Week 2 - not to mention those who had minimal impact while fully fit.
If you are in need of a change, DAZN has you covered, with the best quarterback waiver wire pickups ahead of Week 3 action.
Derek Carr

It turns out lightning does strike twice, as once again the New Orleans Saints - led by Derek Carr - scored over 40 points for a second straight week.
Carr would have gone undrafted in many fantasy leagues, and if managers missed the opportunity to pick him up after Week 1 now is the time to act.
Of course, Carr will not go straight into your line-up if you have an elite tier quarterback, but he appears to be a good stash in case of injury to your first-choice QB.
Sam Darnold

A similar story to Derek Carr but in Minnesota, where Vikings quarterback Sam Darnold has got off to a good start to the season.
After two weeks he is a top 10 fantasy quarterback, who like Carr would have gone undrafted in many fantasy leagues.
The Vikings have some tough match-ups in the coming weeks, but in case of emergency Darnold has shown he can be trusted - for now at least.

The NFL world watched in despair as Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion in Thursday night's game against the Buffalo Bills.
It is an injury which will keep Tagovailoa out for the foreseeable future, leaving the way for Skylar Thompson to have another opportunity as an NFL starter.
The 27-year-old has not started a game since 2022, and was far from a productive fantasy QB when he did, but he has the weapons around him to potentially have some spike games.
Andy Dalton

Veteran quarterback Andy Dalton is a starter in the NFL once again, as the Carolina Panthers have opted to bench 2023's number one overall pick Bryce Young.
It is hard to argue that Dalton, 36, should go into your fantasy line-ups, but in league's with a large number of teams - particularly superflex leagues - he could hold some value.
Dalton's best fantasy finish was QB4 but that was over a decade ago, in his last season with more than 10 games played, Dalton finished as QB22 with the New Orleans Saints in 2022.
