If this is your fantasy football championship game week, there are still last-minute plays that you could make to win the big game. Here, DAZN lists players to target for Week 17.
Quarterbacks
Caleb Williams
The Seattle Seahawks’ secondary has allowed 475 passing yards and five touchdowns to quarterbacks over the past two weeks.
That could bode very well for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears in Week 17, making the top overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft a high priority for this Thursday Night Football matchup.
Bryce Young
Young shredded the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ defense for 298 yards passing and a touchdown, while rushing for another TD in Week 13. Grab him if you can as his Carolina Panthers visit the Bucs on Sunday.
Anthony Richardson
At 7-8, the Indianapolis Colts are still vying for a playoff spot. At 2-13, the New York Giants’ season has long been done.
Considering the Giants’ defense has allowed 69 points the past two weeks, Richardson could be a surprising gem for your fantasy championship prospects.
Snatch him off the waivers and start him.
Running backs
Gus Edwards
In a pivotal game against the Denver Broncos last week, the Los Angeles Chargers got a huge performance from Edwards who rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries.
With the Chargers (9-6) still trying to close in on a playoff spot, Edwards is a big grab and go against the New England Patriots on Saturday.
Tyjae Spears
If you’re looking to round out your backfield, Spears might just be your guy at running back this week.
First of all, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ defense is horrible and secondly, Spears has recorded four touchdowns over the past two weeks, making him a viable fantasy target.
Ameer Abdullah
It’s hard to trust the Las Vegas Raiders (3-12) for much these days.
However, Abdullah did turn in a solid game last week by rushing for 38 yards and a touchdown, while adding another 47 yards receiving.
He has upside against the lowly New Orleans Saints this weekend.
Wide receivers
Marquise Brown
Visiting the Pittsburgh Steelers on Christmas Day won’t be easy for the Kansas City Chiefs.
But Patrick Mahomes targeting Brown could make for a big day for “Hollywood” Brown.
Jalen McMillan
McMillan had 57 receiving yards and a touchdown on five targets last week and could be in store for a similar performance or more as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers host the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Acquire him off the waivers.
Quentin Johnston
The Los Angeles Chargers wideout didn’t score last week as the Denver Broncos’ defense bottled him up pretty good, snapping his two-week touchdown streak.
But against the New England Patriots on Saturday, Johnston is a big go if you can land him.
