After two ACL tears, Odell Beckham has a lot to prove in the NFL.
The Baltimore Ravens wide receiver missed the entire 2022 season recovering from his second major knee injury in a year-and-a-half, and many rightly wondered whether Beckham's days as an NFL-level wideout were over.
While the jury may be out on Beckham's 2023 campaign as a whole, the 31-year-old showed on Sunday that he could still reach a top-end speed that few can match.
Early in the second half of Baltimore's high-scoring matchup with the Cleveland Browns, Beckham caught a pass from quarterback Lamar Jackson and turned on the jets, outracing the Browns defense to the end zone and performing a solo dance in celebration of his second touchdown of the season.
According to Next Gen Stats on X (formerly Twitter), Beckham's top speed of 19.92 mph (32.06 km/h) was the fastest he's run as a ball carrier in two years, and the second-fastest on any play this season.
