Jameis Winston is living a dream.
Under steady snowfall, the veteran quarterback powered two crucial scoring drives in the fourth quarter to lead the Cleveland Browns to a 24-19 victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Huntington Bank Field in Cleveland, Ohio for a wild Thursday Night Football game. With the upset, the Browns (3-8) snapped the Steelers (8-3) five-game win streak.
Winston started the fourth quarter, rolling under pressure to punch in a two-yard touchdown as the Browns went up 18-6 with 12:16 remaining.
The Steelers furiously rallied, though, with Jaylen Warren reaching the end zone with a short rush, before a Browns' fumble led to another scoring drive from Pittsburgh — this one coming on a 23-yard TD pass from Russell Wilson to Calvin Austin III.
With the Steelers owning a 19-18 edge, Winston would throw an interception that could have sealed the Browns' fate with 4:28 left.
However, the Browns' defense forced a three and out, giving the 30-year-old QB one more chance. And he made the most of it, generating a clutch play by scrambling to find Jerry Jeudy on a 3rd & 12 conversion to extend a game-winning drive.
Nick Chubb would handle the rest by punching in his second goal-line TD of the game to seal the Browns' upset.
Here are the key updates and highlights from the Browns' victory over the Steelers from Thursday Night Football.
