The NFC Championship is on the line tonight.

The NFC Championship is up for grabs tonight with the San Francisco 49ers hosting the Detroit Lions.

As the number one seed, the 49ers will enjoy a home-field advantage in this game. San Francisco won 24-21 against the Green Bay Packers on Saturday night and the 49ers will now play in their third consecutive NFC Championship game.

The Lions triumphed 31-24 over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday. The Lions are riding a tidal wave of emotion and fearlessness. After two emotional home playoff wins, Dan Campbell's young team is one win away from a maiden Super Bowl appearance.

The 49ers have lost their last two NFC Championship games and they will be desperate to turn around this record, but the Lions will have other ideas.

It promises to be a dramatic day in the Bay Area with a trip to Las Vegas and Super Bowl LVIII on the line.
