As all sports fans know, watching your favourite players leave everything out there on the pitch can be hungry work.
Super Bowl LVIII will see more than 65,000 fans packed into the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas and with a lengthy build-up, extended half-time show and then a trophy presentation it will be a long day, so those supporters will need feeding.
Naturally, fans at the game will have plenty of options to choose from, so here is a look at what will be on offer and how much cash fans will have to splash.
What food is on offer at the Allegiant Stadium?
If you take a look at the stadium’s official website, you are greeted by a lengthy list of food options that are scattered across the stadium. There are various options under categories such as BBQ, chicken, burgers, Mexican, hot dogs, nachos, sandwiches, sushi, vegan, vegetarian, candy, dessert and more. You could probably be marooned at the stadium and have a different meal every day until the Raiders season opener in September, should you wish.
While these specific options are dotted around the arena, there are an abundance of stands offering stapes such as pizza, hot dogs, nachos and various beverages.
What about the prices?
As you’d imagine, prices are not cheap. According to the Mirror, a single (albeit large) slice of pizza will set you back $12.99, with pepperoni on top costing an extra dollar. Hot dogs are a more reasonable $2.99, which is the same price for nachos or a packet of crisps.
A souvenir bucket of popcorn is $14.99, while a beer will cost between $13.99 and $17.99, with wine priced at $16.99. Bottles of water or soda are priced at $6.99.
