Legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady has called time on his playing career.
The announcement comes almost a year after his first retirement announcement, one which he famously reversed.
Brady will go down as one of, if not, the greatest quarterback to step onto the field and his numbers, and successes back up his status.

Tom Brady won seven Super Bowls during his 22-year playing career which is an NFL record.
Six of those came during his time with the New England Patriots, and his fifth which came in his first season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Who did Tom Brady play for?
There were just two teams who were lucky enough to have Tom Brady's ability at their disposal.
He spent the majority of his career at the New England Patriots after joining in the year 2000. The following season Brady was named the starter after Drew Bledsoe suffered a career-ending injury against the New York Jets.
Brady then went onto lead the Patriots to their first Super Bowl title and the rest is history.
He also spent two seasons at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after arriving in 2020 due to contract issues with the Patriots and he led the franchise to their first Super Bowl title for 18 years with a win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LV.

Tom Brady has three MVP awards to his name. These came at the conclusion of 2007, 2010 and 2017 seasons.
