Miami Dolphins star Tyreek Hill has hit back at Miami Dolphins fans.

Earlier this week, former Dolphins GM Mike Tannenbaum suggested that the Dolphins trade wideout Jaylen Waddle for Kansas City cornerback Trent McDuffie.

The Dolphins have holes to fill at cornerback, and Dolphins fans seemingly agreed with Tannenbaum's idea.

However, Hill did not. The speedy star took to social media and said, "My boy Waddle is the future; he is better than I was at this point in his career, and for people in this fan base to want to trade him is ludicrous.

"He and Tua were special before me and will be special after I leave."

The Dolphins drafted Waddle in 2021. Since joining Miami, the Alabama product has breached the 1000-yard receiving barrier every season. He has also recorded 19 touchdowns.

Waddle is due for a contract extension. But with Tua Tagoavailoa pencilled in for an extension, the Dolphins may need to shuffle contracts around to remain salary cap compliant.

With that situation, some insiders have hinted that the Dolphins should look to trade Hill. Hill is on a lucrative deal and is now 29 years old.

Pro Football Network's Adam Beasley said, "The thing you can't say but everyone knows it is true about the Dolphins' wide receivers is that trading Tyreek makes the more long-term sense, but that would totally detonate the 2024 season."

Hill responded in a typically aggressive fashion.

Hill and Waddle will return to Miami in 2024. They are both under contract for next season. And Hill wishes to team with Waddle as the Dolphins try to make a Super Bowl push.
