The Philadelphia Eagles have signed veteran wide receiver Julio Jones.
The 34-year-old joins his fourth NFL franchise at the age of 34, having spent 10 years with the Atlanta Falcons and one season at both the Tennessee Titans and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The seven-time Pro Bowler has twice led the league in receiving yards (2015 and 2018) but has not topped 1,000 yards since the 2019 season.
Jones spent 2022 with the Bucs where he caught 24 passes across 10 games for a total of 299 yards and two touchdowns.
The move for Jones comes after Quez Watkins was put on IR, so the veteran joins starting wide receivers A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith at the Super Bowl contenders.
Jones has played in one Super Bowl during his career, the infamous game where the Falcons blew a 28-3 lead against the New England Patriots.
The wide receiver made one of the highlight plays of that game, somehow getting two feet in bounds during a spectacular catch.
