The Carolina Panthers have plucked Bryce Young from Alabama as the first pick of the 2023 NFL Draft.
The 21-year-old quarterback was anticipated to be one of the first names out of the hat after he won the 2021 Heisman trophy.
It was between Young and ex-Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud as to who would be the first pick, and the Houston Texans took Stroud.
At 5’10”, Young is not the most physically imposing player in the sport, but his string of achievements already have him marked out as a potential success for the coming years, in what is the most vital position in the sport.
You can watch Young live on DAZN with NFL Game Pass (excluding the United States and China). Click here for more details. The season begins in August.
