The Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award is awarded jointly by a panel of 16 NFL writers and broadcasters and fans watching the game.
The latter were first allowed to vote at Super Bowl XXXV in 2001, with an 80-20 split to decide the winner for the best-in-show on the field.
Who has won the most Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award?
The most decorated Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award recipient is Tom Brady, the legendary former quarterback, with five wins.
Brady won the first four of his awards with the New England Patriots, at Super Bowls XXXVI, XXXVIII, XLIX and LI during his historic stint with the franchise.
He claimed his fifth and last triumph with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whom he guided to surprise success at Super Bowl LV.
Who was the winner of the 2024 Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award?
The 2024 Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Award winner was Patrick Mahomes, the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback in their 25-22 win over the San Francisco 49ers.
It marked the third triumph for the player, having previously won the Super Bowl MVP Award at Super Bowls LIV and and LVII too.
